
A high standard of dress is required at all times.
The minimum acceptable dress requirements for Men are noted below. Women please observe the dress code displayed in the Womens Locker room.
On the Course
(1) Shirts must have collars or banded necks as per current golfing trends. Shirts must be tucked in unless specifically designed to be worn outside trousers; - these need not be tucked in during the summer daylight saving period but must be tucked in at other times.
(2) If shorts are worn, these must be dress shorts; - not abbreviated, running or beach-type shorts. Socks must be worn.
(3) Golf shoes must be worn.
(4) Metal spiked golf shoes are not permitted.

In the Clubhouse
Tidy, neat attire at all times throughout the year.
Socks must be worn at all times except when wearing boat shoes. Wet or dirty golf attire, tracksuits hats and caps, are not permitted. Shirts without collars may be worn in the Clubhouse providing they are of dress standard and are not singlets, and/or do not have large motifs and/or large slogans. Shirts must be tucked in unless specifically designed to be worn outside trousers; - these need not be tucked in during the summer daylight saving period but must be tucked in at other times. From time to time on specific occasions a special dress requirement may be set down. Fashion evaluation makes absolute guidelines impossible, but the unchanging consideration is that members and visitors dress on the course or in the Clubhouse should reflect the high standards required at the Remuera Golf Club.
Dress NOT permitted on the Course, the Clubhouse complex, practice putting greens and the driving range.
(1) Denim Jeans or Jackets, Football jerseys and Tracksuits.
(2) Abbreviated, running or beach-type shorts.
(3) Shirts without collars and/or shirts with large motifs and/or large slogans. (except as noted in 1a above).
