With the severe weather disruption a couple of weeks ago the Match Play Club Champs are nearing a conclusion.  The Junior and C Grade Finals will be held this Saturday.

The Junior Final will be between Cameron Turner and Colin McGowan.  Cameron beat Chris Hanley on 19th hole, while Colin beat Dan Kearney 2/1.  The C Grade Final sees Ron Lunken playing George York.  Ron beat Robin Bone on the 19th, and George beat Mike Hyams 3/2.

One finalist has been found in the Open Grade - Matthew Cormack beat Andrew Hipkiss on the 19th. The other semi-final will be played on Saturday between Andrew Meng and Karl Jorgensen.  In the Intermediate Grade, Andrew Millard beat Oliver Foote 6/5, while Mike Maingay and Logan Driver will battle it out for the final place on Saturday.

The D Grade Finalists have been found - Peter Healey will play Keith McCracken.  They both had good wins in their semi finals - Peter by 3/2 over Clive Walker and Keith by 6/4 over Stewart Watson.  Their match will be played at a future date to be agreed and is a match up between the winner and runner up from the Stroke Play.  Peter Healey won the Stroke Play in a play off, so this match promises to go all the way.  Peter is the only Stroke Play Champion to make the final of their Match Play grade.
