Three of the Men's Pennants teams were in play on Sunday. The Vice Captains team had a very good 6.5-1.5 win over Chamberlain Park at The Grange. Wins to Mike Maingay, Jaime Lansi, Daniel Whittaker, Thai Leng, Matthew Bruce and Bruce Walkley were supported by Vincent Vuillard's half. They are now 2pts clear of Titirangi but have the bye in the last round so a good win is necessary against Whitford Park at Aviation on Sunday to cement at least a play-off place.
The Inter Club Division 2 team had a narrow 3.5-4.5 loss to Maungakiekie at Maramarua. Wins were recorded by David Pakieto, Andrew Williams and Paul Creighton. Michael Tran secured the half. This leaves them on 20pts in 5th place with joint leaders Formosa & Maungakiekie on 23pts.
The Inter Club Division 3 team had a very good 6-2 win over Howick. Wins by Daniel Freeman, Davide Pedersen, Darren Soo, Dave Spangenberg, Jits Doolabh and Igor Ivanov produced their best result of the season. On 21.5pts this places them T3rd with 2 rounds to play against Titirangi and Wattle Downs.
