A full round of Men's Pennants was played this morning.  The Bissett Shield team produced a top performance to beat the run-away leaders Titirangi by 5-3.  It was great to see that the wins came from our young players - Rakesh Patel (No.1), Connor Barker (No.2), Andrew Hipkiss, Andrew Meng and Jonny Goosman.  This should ensure them a play-off place.

 

The Presidents team continued to struggle against Royal Auckland at Howick.  Wins to Kelvin Chiu and Logan Driver plus a really hard-earned half by Karl Jorgensen at No.1 meant a 2.5-5.5 loss.  The Vice Captains team also lost 3-5 to Whitford Park at Aviation but should still make the play-offs.  Wins to Mike Maingay, Andrew Millard and Ian Braddock.

 

The Inter Club II team had a 4-4 draw with Pukekohe.  The winners were Andrew Lemalu, Andrew Williams, Dave Dengelo and Kevin Fairbrother.  They are on 24pts but only 3pts behind the leaders, Formosa. 

 

The Inter Club III team also lost 3-5 with wins to Angus Mackie (on his debut), Mark Morphy and Daniel Freeman.  Daniel only joined the team in the last few weeks but has posted 3 really good wins - great to see our next group of juniors are just as strong as the last groups!
