This competition seems a bit like hanging the washing out!  As soon as it's arranged it starts pouring with rain.  No one ventured out on the course for the re-scheduled first round on March 29th, so the competition will be the best 3 from the remaining 4 rounds.  The next round is Wednesday April 19th - after Easter and fingers crossed for fine weather.

If you are entered for Top Cat you do not need to book a tee time for that date.  The draw will be done for you.  If anyone cannot play please remove your name after the draw is published on-line.

We are all eligible for the club's Eclectic competition which will be held on each Wednesday that the full course is in play.  The system records the best score posted by each player on each hole played each Wednesday.  You can check your progress on Dot Golf under this competition, but we will also post a leaderboard at the end of each month.

 

A $5 entry fee is payable to enter the competition and this can be paid at the Golf Shop when you next play on a Wednesday.  Entry is open until the end of April, and no score will be included until the entry fee is paid.

 

There will be prizes for the best gross scores and best "half-net" scores - a half-net score is your gross score minus half your handicap at the end of the competition.  A player may only win one prize - the better one.  Make those birdies and pars count even when you are having a bad round!

 

The following are 9-Hole Open days at other courses:
Wattle Downs - Thursday May 4th
Helensville - Monday May 15th.

On-Line Booking
Please do not book in the Vets slots when you make bookings on-line.   We appreciate that there is a lot of pressure on booking slots but this is true for all categories of membership.  If there are some slots in the Vets times available on the day, we may be able to use them but please do not book in these slots in advance.
