The final round of the Waiatarua Torphy was played on Saturday afternoon.  After the 1st round Paul Hurtley and Andy Kelly (79pts) held a 1pt lead over Peter Turner & Kevin Long.  Erik Jorgensen and Kruger Venter (74) were just 5 behind.

 

Graham Hooton and Jack Kirkland-Smith had the best round in the second round (76pts), well clear of Chris Hanley/Geoff Whitcher and David Annan/Graham Arnold on 71pts.

 

Paul Hurtley/Andy Kelly (68pts) did just enough over the 2 rounds to win the title on 147pts.  They held off Graham Hooton/Jack Kirkland-Smith (146) and Erik Jorgensen/Kruger Venter (143).

 

This Saturday we have the qualifying round for the Winter Cup.
