NEWSFLASH !!

CONGRATULATIONS TO JANE DOBBIE - she had her first hole-in-one today (on the 8th).

There were also five 2s - Hilary Dodunski, Tina Lucas, Jeanette Beckett, Shizue Beniya and Sarah Jeffrey ($10.80 ea).

 

Unfortunately the Elizabeth Arden Sponsored Day on Thursday had to be abandoned - the weather gods were not kind on the day.  This event is now be re-scheduled to Thursday, 14th September. Mark your diaries now - this is the week before the greens are cored.

 

Regarding Presidents Trophy - this event is open for registration.  Qualifying is next Tuesday and first round of match-play is on Thursday (25th). Regardless of whether or not you wish to be part of Presidents Trophy, register anyway (and confirm on the day if you wish to qualify).

 

Pennant Results:-

18-Hole Section B played their postponed match at Pukekohe and came away with a  win (56.5 to 51.5) against Whitford Park in very unpleasant conditions.

The Betty Faesen Team had a loss to The Grange.
