Good Afternoon Ladies
Firstly, will start with latest Pennant results:-
The 18-Hole Team (Section A) had a very good win at Clarks Beach last Thursday, defeating Akarana 61.5 to 46.5. This now puts them in second place overall, only four points behind RAGC.
The 18-Hole team (Section B) had a loss at Chamberlain Park, going down to The Grange 64 - 44.
The Weekend Ladies had another win, this time against Akarana. They now have a HUGE lead and look to be heading for the Play-Offs.
The Remuera Golf Club "A" Team took full advantage of their home match against the Grange yesterday, and recorded a significant victory. The ladies had their best result to date with a 13 - 5 win, which has taken them to second on the table.
All games have one match remaining in the season.
RESULTS:-
Qualifying for Presidents Trophy took place today, with 25 entrants. There are two divisions; Silver/Bronze 1 and Bronze 2. First round of matchplay is on Thursday; Draw is online.
Top qualifier in the Silver/Bronze division was Wendy Williams, and in the Bronze 2 Division Janice McKinley.
There were four 2s today; Pam Donnelly, Karen Troon, Robyn Campbell and Maureen Horner ($12 each).
If you are not participating in this event, there are spare tee-times for you to book online.
AUTUMN HANDICAP:
The Winners of Division 1 are Pru Robertson & Juliet Johnson, who defeated Pat Sage and Joyce Tuivakano on the 19th.

FAREWELL: It was disappointing last Thursday was a washout, however a presentation was made to Sajil (from the Cafe) in the form of a $200 giftcard to Farmers. She was most appreciative of all the donations the ladies made towards this gift. Sajil has bought a restaurant in Highland Park.
