Conditions at Gulf Harbour over the weekend for the Lydia Ko Championships were atrocious. The fairways were saturated and relief from casual water was very difficult at times. All the bunkers were declared GUR as many had little or no sand in.
Under 19 Boys
Andrew Meng finished 5th on 144 in the Gross event (won by James Hydes on 136). and 4th on Stableford.
Under 16 Boys
Karl Jorgensen finished 7th in the Gross on 150. This event was won by Jake Lee (Muriwai) on 136. Karl finished 9th in the Stableford event.
Under 14 Boys
Congratulations, Nathan Smith on winning the Stableford (77pts), while Robby Turnbull finished 14th on 64pts. Nathan finished 9th in the Gross on 155, and Robby 12th on 162. This was won by Jayden Ford on 142.
Under 16 Girls
Sarah Murchison won the Stableford section on 74pts - congratulations, Sarah. Mary Chen finished 8th on 61pts. Mary was 9th in the Gross (169) and Sarah 11th (180). The Gross event was won by Miree Jung (Titirangi) on 145.
