Our Division 1 teams were at Howick on Sunday morning. Remuera1 played Remuera3, while Remuera2 played Whitford Park. Each of our teams is "hopefully" evenly balanced to ensure they get good competitive matches.
Remuera1 fought out a draw with Remuera3 2-2. Connor Barker (5/3) beat Karl Jorgensen; Matthew Gibson (6/5) beat William Kelly; while Jaime and Jose Lansi balanced the result with wins over Daniel Freeman (5/3) and Hugh Lee (2/1).
Remuera2 beat Whitford Park 3-1. Wins to Andrew Meng (2up), Josh Brazendale (2up) and Robby Turnbull (2/1) gave the team the necessary points. In the other match Royal Auckland beat Pakuranga 3-1.
