The Mid Week Presidents competition reaches the semi final stage on Wednesday with the matches looking like this:

Bryan Davies & John Lacey vs Robin Bone & Murray Hieatt

Mike Hyams & Ian Braddock vs Larry Sewell & John Johnson.

 

The first round of the Captains Prize was played on Saturday with the biggest winners being Ewen Miln (7/6), Tony Verner (6/5) and Murray Wells (5/4).  Many of the lower handicappers suffered defeats with the higher handicappers enjoying the drier conditions and more run on the course.  This Saturday the Captains Prize and General Managers Prize matches are at the Last Sixteen stages. 

 

The drier conditions certainly showed in the scoring for the Scramble on Saturday - Mike Hearn (46pts) ahead of Ivan Letica & Graham Arnold (45pts).  Graham Miller will feel hard-done-by as he had 40pts but got nothing!
