Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS to PAM DONNELLY - the winner of the Champion of Champions (Intermediate Division) held at Clarks Beach yesterday. Pam competed against all the Intermediate Champions of clubs throughout Auckland and came out on top – very very well done!

Kathy Gould (Senior Champion) along with Pam Donnelly and Amanda Hanna (Intermediate) represented the Club in the Rosebowl competition and did very well in extremely windy conditions.

The Invitation Day last Thursday was very successful, with 88 ladies playing in great conditions.

Leading three pairs were:-

Jan Bilger and Dorothy Chatfield (82 points) Judy Purchase & Dolly Dawson (80 points) Joan Reeves & Sue Gold (76 points)

And congratulations to Gillian Ge Liu, who scored her first hole-on-one (on the 8^th). Everyone enjoyed the drink on Gillian!

Upcoming Events:

Thursday, 9^th November is Teams day - Draw is on Dotgolf. Format is best 3 from 4 (based on stableford) – cards will count for handicapping.

Tuesday, 14^th November is the qualifying round for the Club Championships Foursomes. Match-play commences on Thursday (16^th), and continues throughout the next week culminating with the 36-hole Final on Thursday, 23^rd November. As this is a Pairs event, you need to enter on the Sheet in Locker Room. Alternatively, email your entry to Karen on karent@remueragolfclub.com

For those not participating in the event, you will be able to book yourself a tee-time after the Draw is done on Thursday (ie once number of tee-times for Foursomes is known).
