The 4th & final round of qualifying was held for this year's Booth Cup on Saturday.  Best Gross was David Annan (76), but he had not played the necessary 3 rounds to make the final.  This allowed Rakesh Patel to take the final gross slot having shot 77.  The net qualifiers were Peter Sage and Graham Arnold (68).  Similarly George Green had the best net of 67 but had played insufficient qualifying rounds to make the final.

 

The 12 finalists are - Mathew Cormack, Karl Jorgensen, Thai Leng and Rakesh Patel (Gross qualifiers); Bruce Walkley, Mike Hearn, Dan Kearney, Cameron Turner, Eoin Pope, Brian Roe, Peter Sage and Graham Arnold (net qualifiers).  The 36-hole final is on Saturday - play well everyone!

 

Congratulations to Scott Robertson on his part in the successful Freyberg Masters team at Whitford Park last week.  Scott played in 7 of the 8 games - winning 5, halving 1 and losing 1 to ensure that Auckland beat Wellington in the final to repeat their win from last year.  Scott has had a great year despite relatively little golf - winning the Auckland Masters at Waiuku and a member of this winning team.
