The 36-Hole Booth Cup Final was played on Saturday.  There are 4 qualifying rounds with the best gross and the 2 best nett from each round qualifying for the Final - provided the qualifier has played at least 3 of the qualifying rounds.

 

With only 12 qualifiers this is one of the most prestigious and difficult to win competitions in our calendar.  Congratulations to all the qualifiers - Matthew Cormack, Thai Leng, Karl Jorgensen, Connor Barker, Rob Eng, Bruce Walkley, Cameron Turner, Mike Hearn, Colin McGowan, Brian Roe, Graham Arnold and Eoin Pope.

 

The morning round lead went to Colin McGowan and Rob Eng (69), with Matthew Cormack 3 behind on 72.  The best afternoon round went to Eoin Pope (67) from Bruce Walkley (69), Colin McGowan and Thai Leng (70).  Colin's consistency won the day by 5 shots (139) from Thai Leng (144) and Bruce Walkley (146).  Congratulations Colin - a second win of this great trophy, the first time being in 2008.
