Our 2018 Match Play Club Championships were decided over the past week.

 

OPEN:                     Matthew Cormack defeated Mathew Weir 5/4 on Wednesday.

INTERMEDIATE:       Michael Maingay won on the first extra hole over Andrew Millard

JUNIOR:                  Erik Jorgensen defeated Colin McGowan 6/5.  Erik completed the double of the Stroke Play & Match Play, and this was a match between the top 2 qualifiers from the Stroke Play event.

C GRADE:               George York held off Keith Aitchison 1up in a very closely fought match.

D GRADE:               Richard Fairey won 4/3 over David Stewart for his first win at the club at the age of 86 years!
