The Presidents Foursomes was played on Saturday - 36 holes of stableford.  The morning round was very close - Ross Pickett/Bill Berry & Lyall Brown/Peter Healey (39pts); Dan Kearney/John Tutt & Grant Nicholas/Andrew Lemalu (38pts) were the leaders.  There were another 10 teams within 4pts of the lead promising a close contest on our cored greens.

 

The afternoon round produced even better scoring (a bit surprising), with 12 teams playing better than their handicaps.  Grant Nicholas/Andrew Lemalu played even better in the afternoon (43pts) to secure the title by 4pts.  David Cranna/Richard Osborne's 43pts moved them up to 2nd overall (77pts) just ahead of Ian Braddock/Mike Hyams 42pts (76pts).

 

The best morning round went to Ross Pickett/Bill Berry (39pts); while the afternoon winner was Graham Arnold/John Childerhouse (42pts).
