The first ‘Teams Day’ of the year was played last Thursday, and the Ambrose format proved hugely popular, no doubt helped by cards not counting for handicapping. It has certainly been noted by the Committee that these type of events are the way to go throughout winter months!

Winners of the Teams day were Helen Peters, Esther Cowper, Gail Mackenzie and Sophie Feng with a nett score of 63.

The winners from today’s LGU (6) were:-

SILVER: Judy Hart (nett 65)

BRONZE 1: Nicola Judd (nett 72)

BRONZE 2: Marg Tomlinson (nett 77)

BRONZE 3: Jeanette Beckett (nett 82)

Reminders:-

As previously advised, the Ladies’ Committee have made some important changes to the upcoming Winter Cup. Firstly, the Final will now consist of 18 Holes ONLY (not 36 holes as has previously been played) AND the top 16 only will qualify. Register through the DotGolf system if you want a game on Tuesday, 3^rd July. Decide on the day whether you wish to be a qualifier or not. Just be aware that you must be available to play on Thursday (5^th), Tuesday (10^th), Thursday 12^th and the Final on Tuesday 17^th July.
