All 4 teams were in action on Sunday - Division 1 at Pakuranga, Division 2 Section A also at Pakuranga, while Section B were at Titirangi.
Division 1
Remuera 1 played Titirangi looking for a good win to lead the division going into the final 3 rounds after the school holidays. Finlay McKechnie established an early lead in this match and cemented a very good 5/4 win in his first match in Division 1. Hugh Lee led early but his opponent kept coming back before Hugh closed it out with a good 3/1 win. Robby Turnbull's match was a bit similar but finished with a very good 3/2 win. At the top of the order Andrew Meng was 6up at the turn and finished his match 6/5. Great win that gives a solid lead in the division.
Remuera 2 had a last minute change - Cameron Harlock came in for Larenzo Aguilar at the top of the order and helped the team secure an excellent 3-1 win. Other winners were Nathan Smith (2up) and Daniel Mar (5/4).

Remuera 1 4-0 over Titirangi
Remuera 2 3-1 over Whitford Park

Section B were at Titirangi where unfortunately a full team default by Akarana has handed the section win to Pakuranga. Our team needed to win 4-0 to pip Pakuranga and 2 halves and 2 losses means they have finished in a tie for second. The halves came from Cherie Young and Eamon Wairepo. Final points in this division are:
Pakuranga                 14
Remuera & Titirangi    11.5
Franklin & Whitford     9
Akarana                    5
The next round for Division 1 is at Akarana on August 5th when Remuera 1 play RAGGC in a key match - a win here will almost put them out of sight. Remuera 2 play Pakuranga in another key match.
