The Match Committee has conducted an analysis of the hole ratings.  We reviewed their rating over 2 periods - March 29th to September 14th; and October 4th to November 10th.  We also compared the ratings for 3 different handicap groups - +3 to 12; 13-25 and 26-38.

 

Over the March to September period the holes were accurate to their rating:

1st - 15th

2nd - 5th

4th - 7th

7th - 1st

8th - 17th

9th - 3rd

10th - 2nd

11th - 18th

13th - 6th

15th - 8th

16th - 4th

17th - 14th

18th - 16th.

The only holes that differed from the ratings were:

3rd - currently 11th, could be 9th

5th - currently 13th, could be 11th

6th - currently 9th, could be 13th

12th - currently 10th, could be 12th

14th - currently 12th, could be 10th.

 

Between October & November the results were very similar.  As the only variances cover only 5 holes ranked between 9th & 13th the decision was taken to make no changes to hole ratings.
