NZ PGA Championship Survey

The 2016 NZ PGA Championship concluded on Sunday in front of an excellent crowd.  The players and the Australasian PGA tournament team have passed on their gratitude to the huge number of volunteers who supported the event during the week.  While the PGA is a Tier 2 event in terms of prize money, many of the players commented that they regard it as a Tier 1 event in every other way.

Special thanks to Fergie Sumich, who managed the car park for the second year - a particularly tough job as he got to see very little golf!  Ian Braddock and Vicki Salmon who supported the on-course volunteers, and Ross Pickett, Michael Hayton and Cliff Cable who ensured the driving range ran as smoothly as possible under tiring circumstances.

It is vital to gather some measurement of the success of the event, particularly for the sponsors as they consider on-going and/or increased support of the PGA Championship.  If you attended the event as a spectator or volunteer please take just 2-3 minutes to complete the attached survey.  It is just 12 questions - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QDN86GX

St Johns 1.

The date for St Johns 1 was omitted from the programme book this year - it will be held on Sunday April 3rd.  This is one week before the course is closed for coring and is the Sunday we move out of Daylight Saving.  The entry sheet will be put in the 19th Café on Monday March 21st.  While the St Johns is a mixed event, men's fours and women's fours can play too.
