The final round of Top Cat for 2018 was played today with Wendy Williams and Villia Cheng emerging the winners. Their four best rounds were outstanding – 47 points, 44 points, and two rounds of 41 points. Well done Wendy and Villia! Four points behind and in runners-up position were Janice McKinley and Margaret Hancox with 169 points with Pru Robertson and Joyce Tuivakano one point behind.

We are certainly in the busy period of the golfing year, with lots of events planned between now and Closing Day.

On Thursday (8th) is the Invitation Day with 100 ladies playing. Please report by 7:30am for the shot-gun start at 8am and allow time to walk out to the hole you have been assigned.

Next up is the Gold Medal + Consolation Net competition, scheduled for Tuesday 13th November. To book for this event, register online and a seeded draw will be done on Thursday.

On Thursday, 15th November the Bridge Ladies are very kindly sponsoring what promises to be a Fun Day – format to be “Hidden Partners”. Register online – there will be a shotgun start at 8am.

And the last ‘competitive’ event for the year is the Club Champs Foursomes – a match-play event that commences with qualifying on Tuesday, 20th November and continues with match-play, culminating with the Finals on the 29th November. Entry for this is on an Entry Sheet in the Locker Room – please ensure your partner is available on the specified dates.
