Four of our players made the first round of the Auckland Match Play at Pakuranga over the weekend.  They all qualified from the Auckland Stroke Play held a few weeks ago.

 

James Eng met Joshua Bai (Akarana) and beat him 3/2.  Unfortunately he then lost 4/3 to Mason Lee in the Quarter Final.

Thai Leng was beaten by Stephen Liu (Pakuranga) by 2down.

Daniel Freeman was beaten by David Kim (Akarana) 3/2 and Cameron Harlock lost 2/1 to Kunaal Singh (Whitford Park) who was the eventual runner-up.

 

The final was won by Jared Edwards (RAGGC) 3/2 over Kunaal Singh.
