Last Thursday’s scramble winners were: Silver/Bronze 1 – Pat Sage, Gail MacKenzie and Annie Tam; Bronze 2/3 – Rosemary Hurdley, Noeline Wigg and Merilyn Kavvas. The twos money was shared by Vivian Zhu and Annie Tam.

Master’s Trophy

The draw is on the noticeboard. Please try and get your matches under way as soon as possible.

LGU

The results for this will appear a bit differently this year. The competition named “LGU & Putting” will record your net score for the round being played.

The competition named “LGU (Best 4 rounds)” will accumulate your scores from all the rounds and show your best four scores in a division. The scores will look a bit different as they are “net differentials”. This is your net score less the course rating of the course played. This is necessary as we are playing off different courses during the year. For example, the current course is par 70 with a course rating of 70.8, whereas our normal course is par 73 with a course rating of 73.6.

Also, on LGU day we are playing for the Gross Cup and the Middlemore Cup. The Gross Cup is the best four gross differentials and the Middlemore Cup is the best four net differentials. Neither is in divisions.

Both the LGU, Gross and Middlemore Cups are played with the weekend women.

Top Cat (26 February)

The tee-sheet is now open on DotGolf and just about full.

Please remember when you play:

·        putt out even if you cannot better your partners score except, if you are out of stableford points, you should pick up.

·        Swop your scorecard with one of the other pair you are playing with, not your partner (the penalty for not doing this is DQ).

Teams Day (28 February)

Please book as a team, or on your own or as pair and let a team form around you. The competition will be best 3 of 4 stableford, with a small prize for the winning team.

Nancy MacCormick Foursomes (enter by 26 February)

The entry sheet for this Foursomes competition is in the Locker Room. The entry sheet also has a section at the end for Partner Wanted. The competition is two rounds played on 5 and 7 March. Please have your entry in by Tuesday 26 February as the draw will be done that day and tee-times released then for those not playing Foursomes.

Club Match Play Championships (enter by March 5)

Registration has opened on the Remuera website. Entries close 10:00 Tuesday 5 March, there will be no late entries. There is a separate competition for each division. There needs to be a minimum of six qualifiers in a division for there to be an 8 draw and a minimum of 12 qualifiers for a 16 draw. Qualifying and match play is gross, and all matches are over 18 holes this year. Further details are on the notice board in the locker room.
