ROTORUA GOLF CLUB: Ladies Open Foursomes/3 Day Handicap Matchplay.

Details of this event are on the Noticeboard. This might be an enjoyable few days away for some of you, playing on a course which, by all accounts, handles the winter wet well. Enter as a pair and enjoy great hospitality from the Rotorua Golf Club. For further information please ask/email Jo Hollies or Linda Brown.

JUST A REMINDER ABOUT SLOW PLAY

Apparently there have been some instances of slow play causing problems holding up the field. Please remember to pick up once it is not possible to score any stableford points. Other things that help to speed play are:

1) Think about your club selection as you are walking to your ball.

2) Where practical, take your practice swing while others in your group are hitting.

3) The first two players to putt out on the green should move quickly to the next tee and tee off before marking their cards.

4) Remember, each group MUST keep up with the group in front.
