Nine Hole Women’s Golf Update

Hopefully you have all managed to stay warm and keep dry during this cold weather over the last week girls and, to all those lucky ones who have scampered off to warmer places, ENJOY!

SCRAMBLE RESULTS

For Monday, 31 July: Front Nine: Sarah Fyfe (21 Stableford) $8. Sabra Davies & Judy Naylor (19) $5 each. Back Nine: Kate Morgan-Rees (19 Stableford) $8 Twos: Sarah Fyfe $8. Well done girls.

Scramble dates for August: Monday, 12^th (instead of yesterday, 5^th –cancelled due to bad weather) and Wednesday, 14^th & 28^th.

IRISH STABLEFORD COMPETITION – Monday, 19 August

Entry sheet for this re-scheduled competition is on the noticeboard with tee times (normal Monday ones) available for 60 names. There are still lots of spaces available so if you are interested in playing please but your name down this week (entries close Friday).

$2 per person entry fee payable on the day. Scoring instructions will be provided. Prizes for Front and Back Nine.

RED TEES

Hopefully these will soon be in place, giving a shorter course as a favourable option for this time of year with the wetter conditions. Once the red tees have been rated by NZ Golf they will have a different slope rating to the green ones so handicapping will function correctly.

DATES TO DIARY

Putting Competition: September 2^nd & 4^th and November 4^th & 6^th. Best two of four rounds

Club Championship: October 14 & 16.
