Firstly well done on the North Shore Golf Club challenge on sunday, not so much because you won but because everyone had a great time and you all seemed very relaxed and enjoyed it. The team played amazingly well to win this round 10.5 : 0.5 to not lose a match. The overall result was 15.5 : 6.5 to Remuera. We will do this again next year.
I have not managed to tie down one final inter change with another club in september but continue to work on it.
Congratulations to Eamon who defeated Lachlan in the Barfoot & Thompson Meadowbank Challenge Trophy on Saturday. This will now take a 2 week break while the NZ Under 19s are on. The next round will be saturday 14 september when Rebekah will challenge, then Ishaan the week after.
The Jarvie memorial results are attached. Well done to Karl Jorgenson for winning this and to Hugh Lee for winning the 3 rd round.
This Saturday is round 1 of 3 for the Coutts Memorial, which is 3 rounds of net medal. Rounds 2 and 3 are 14 and 21 September.
Finally good luck to all of you that are heading off the N Z under 19 champs. I hope you all play well but more importantly i hope that you all enjoy what will be 2 great courses. Do the club and yourselves proud in not only your results, but in how you conduct yourself and represent the Club.
