The Club Championship semi-finals were played on Saturday.  The Open Grade saw wins to Matthew Cormack (over Tomas Shaw) and Robby Turnbull (defeated Karl Jorgensen).  They will play 36 holes on Saturday March 21st - no play this weekend as the NZ Stroke Play is being held in Hastings.

The Intermediate semi-finals resulted in wins for Chris Hanley and Kailesh Patel over Nick Lovegrove and Cameron Pocock respectively.  Their final will be played on Saturday March 28th as both players are unavailable on March 21st.

The Junior Final will be between Bruce Renshaw and Glen Larsen.  Glen defeated Mike Hearn (his first match play loss in some time), while Bruce beat Simon Wall earlier in the week.  In the C Grade Keith Aitchison will play either Brett Morpeth or Stephen Bryers.  This match will be played this week.  The D Grade Final will be between Andy Horsfall and Robin Bone after their wins over Dennis Swan and Fergie Sumich.

The Junior, C and D Grade Finals are over 18 holes.

Special mention to Barry Hall who has shot his age twice in the past week - 68 last Saturday and 70 on Wednesday.  Congratulations, Barry.
