Good Afternoon Ladies

It is good to hear the Course has bounced back well, after the coring of the greens last week. Also good to have a full course to enjoy, and comments are very favourable regarding the 12th Hole.

A number of Remuera teams have played Pennants over the past week, and results are as follows:-

The "A" Pennant Team had a fantastic victory over the Royal Auckland #1 Team at Windross Farm yesterday, and are now placed third in the overall standings, with no losses thus far. 

The 18-Hole Team (Section A) also were victorious against Royal Auckland at Howick last Friday, winning 57.5 - 50.5.

The Weekend Team had another big win, and are leading their section by a big margin. 

Not so good for the Betty Faesen Team, who lost to the combined team of Whitford/Windross Farm.

 

The first round of the Autumn Handicap was played today; balance of matches need to be organised and played ASAP.   It was disappointing in an ongoing event where partners are drawn, to have last-minute withdrawals.  This left players on their own, partnerless and out of the Autumn Handicap.  Please ensure you are aware of what the event entails before you enter!

There were two 2s today; Pru Robertson and Raewyn MacCormick ($20 each).
