Just a little reminder to enter for the Club Championships which begin on Saturday February 12th.   This email also clarifies the divisional structure.  If a player enters in the wrong division, or their handicap index moves sufficiently that they move divisions after entering - they will be placed in the correct division according to their handicap index after the closing date.
Entry
Entry for all divisions is on-line, via our web site - www.remueragolfclub.com.
Entry opened - January 14th, and close on Monday February 7th.

Membership Number - 361xxxx
Password - DotGolf password (usually your DDMM of birth unless you have changed it).
Choose MyGolf from the menu item on the top of the screen.
Select Competition Registration from the drop-down menu, and enter in the division appropriate to your handicap index at the time. If your handicap index moves prior to the closing date for entries, you will be moved into the appropriate division. Handicaps will be frozen for this competition from the closing date, until the end of the event.
 
The divisions are set according to your Handicap Index on the closing date (February 7th).  These divisions are set as follows:
Open Grade is open to everyone who wishes to participate in this division, and all players with a handicap index of 5.3 or less.  The Open Grade is played from the blue tees.
Intermediate Grade - players with a handicap index between 5.4 and 10.9.  These players will have a course handicap on the blue tees between 7 and 12. 
Junior Grade - players with a handicap index between 11.0 and 16.4.  This grade is played from the white tees and players will have course handicaps between 11 and 16.
C & D Grades - for those players with handicap indexes 16.5 or over.  These divisions are also from the white tees and the course handicaps will be 17 or higher.
 
Playing Dates
36 Holes of Stroke Play Qualifying - Saturday February 12 & 19. The top 16 gross scores over the 2 rounds qualify within each division.  As Covid caused the cancellation of the 2021 Stroke Play Championships, these 2 rounds will also double as our 2021 Stroke Play Championships.  Trophies will be presented at the end of the second round for the Stroke Play Championships.
 
The Match Play rounds are as follows:
Round of 16 - Saturday February 26
Quarter Finals - Saturday March 5
Semi Finals - Saturday March 12
Finals - Saturday March 19.
Open and Intermediate Finals are over 36 holes.  All other divisions are 18 hole finals in the afternoon field.  Players may play their match play games on another date if they are unable to play on the scheduled date.  However, the new date must be agreeable to your opponent and it must be played before the next round is due.  If no alternative date is agreed upon, the player unable to play must concede the match.  Matches are off-the-stick within the division in which you are playing.
