Women's Golf Update

Topic: Womens Golf

Not quite the start for the year we were anticipating, when the first LGU of the year was cancelled last week due to persistent rain. Thankfully, Cyclone Gita chose to avoid Auckland this morning and the re-scheduled LGU was played.

The scores in Thursday’s Scramble clearly show that winter conditions were upon us in February. Hopefully the Course has now had a chance to dry out …

The Pennant competitions have all commenced, with a draw and two losses to kick the year off.

The “A” Pennants lost their game against Titirangi 12-6

The 18-Hole Matchplay (Section B) had a draw against Onewhero

The 18-Hole Matchplay (Section C) had a narrow loss to Howick (53.5 – 54.5)

The 18-Hole (Section B) Team is next scheduled to play at Remuera on Thursday, 1st March and so there will be very limited times available for members on this day.
