Another beautiful week of weather. We are certainly being spoilt!

TOP CAT

We had our first round of Top Cat yesterday (Monday 4^th ) with 76 players registered. Thanks girls for such a great response to this competition.

Entry has now closed for this competition which is to be held next Monday, 11^th March. Participants please see Dotgolf for your tee times. Note: $2 cash per person entry fee applies for this competition.

DATES TO DIARY

Thursday, 14 March: Cocktail Party 4.30pm – 6pm. This is an invitation for all Nine and 18 Holers and Weekend Ladies to mix and enjoy the company of all fellow women members. Food provided (canapes) and a cash bar available. If you wish to attend please put your name on the sheet alongside the Noticeboard (This is for catering purposes only).

Maramarua – 15 March (Entries close tomorrow, 6 March) Entry fee $25 (includes lunch) If you wish to enter please contact Jo Hollies urgently.

Pakuranga - 21 March (Entries close 11 March) Entry fee $15. Pakuranga Golf Course is possibly our closest neighbour when we consider other golf courses and an interesting one to play. If you wish to attend please pay your entry fee to Jo Hollies, Linda Brown, Sue Olliff or Jane Beveridge.

Open Days in April (Entry sheets yet to be received) are: 11 April – Whitford Park Golf Club Please Note: Remuera Golf Club is closed for coring during the week 8 – 12 April so this might be a good opportunity to play at another club for minimal cost. 18 April - Maxwells Golf

Last Wednesday after golf Stephanie Grant took a “Welcome New Members” session which ran for about an hour. About eight ladies attended this relaxed get-together and, from feedback, they all found it extremely useful. For those who know Stephanie she is the perfect person to put new members at ease, make them feel welcome and give them the tools to make sure joining the club (and the Ladies Nine Hole group) is an enjoyable experience at all times. These sessions will be repeated from time to time so if you missed out on this one watch out for information on the next one.

One thing that did come out of this session was the number of these members who were not aware of the Nine Hole content in the online Weekly Wrap which comes out each Tuesday for the benefit of all members. If you happen to play with someone who you feel appears to not be aware of, or up to date with what is going on, please mention that most things they need to know about our Nine Hole group can be read online each week in the club’s Weekly Wrap.
