As you are aware this is Coring week girls so hopefully you can find other activities to occupy yourselves and look forward to seeing you all back swinging your clubs next week.

By all accounts a lot of fun was had by all the girls who participated in this. Results as follows: 1st: -9 Jo Hollies ($30), 2nd: -7 Margot McLoughlin ($20), 3rd: -5 Leanne Bode/Barbara Simpson ($5 each). Well done girls.

For CHARITY DAY – Next Tuesday, 16 April. 8.00am Shotgun start. We are looking for three people to help out on the day by collecting money on the betting hole and the long drive. If you are able to help please phone Jo Hollies 021 630608 as soon as possible. Entries have closed for this event and it’s great to see a number of our players mixing it up with the 18 holers.

Wattle Downs Golf Club – 9 May (Entry sheet for this will be on the board later this week). Wattle Downs Golf Course is a reasonably short, pleasant and very flat course in the Manurewa area. It is also one of the clubs our pennant team play in the Triangular series each year so it would be great if we could get some members to support their Open Day.

Pukekohe Golf Club – 16 May (Entry sheet yet to be received)

Entries have closed for this and first round games are now being scheduled by those who are competing in the first round of the competition. Good luck girls!
