On Saturday Sarah Murchison retained the Barfoot & Thompson Challenge Cup with a very good 4/2 win over Grace Jung.  Sarah's on a bit of a run of wins at the moment but will have a few weeks to keep the trophy as we will try and run the Junior Club Championships after 2 cancellations due to heavy fog.  

 

This Saturday is the first round of qualifying for both the Open and Intermediate Grades with the draw for the match play rounds made after the second round on June 8th. 

 

Daniel Freeman, Robby Turnbull, Aileen Du and Jackie Jang played in the North Shore Classic over the weekend.  Daniel finished T20th on 230 and Robby was 238, T32nd in the Men's Open.  Aileen Du (235) was 9th, and Jackie Jang was on 297 in the Open Women's event.
