Warren Bygrave and Keith Aitchison battled it out in the Final of the Winter Cup on Saturday.  Warren jumped into an early 2up lead on the front nine and despite only being 2 over the card at the turn, Keith had fought back and was only 1 down.

 

Keith won the 10th hole and it was back to all square where it stayed until the 14th & 15th which proved to be decisive holes.  Warren won them both and despite Keith getting one back when Warren played the wrong ball on the 16th, the match was closed out with a good par on the penultimate hole.  A win to Warren by 2/1, congratulations.

 

At the end of June it is the 3rd qualifying round of the Booth Cup, and then we have a break from competition through until mid August.
