Nine Hole Women’s Golf Update

Scramble dates for August: Monday, 5^th and Wednesday, 14^th & 28^th.

IRISH STABLEFORD COMPETITION - Monday, 19 August

Entry sheet for this re-scheduled competition (previously postponed due to fog) is now on our Noticeboard with tee times (our normal Monday ones) available for 60 names. Please put your name (if you wish, along with others you would like to play with) in a tee time to suit. $2 per person entry fee payable on the day. Scoring instructions will be provided. Entries close Friday, 9 August. Prizes for Front and Back Nine Holes.

RED TEES -

In addition to the new coloured green tees that have replaced the yellow ones, we will soon have red tees as well, giving a shorter course as an option. We would encourage you to use these as your first choice during the winter months, especially when the conditions are wet. Once the red tees have been rated by NZ Golf they will have a different slope rating to the green ones so handicapping will function correctly.

DATES TO DIARY -

Putting Competition: September 2^nd & 4^th and November 4^th & 6^th. Best two of four rounds.

Club Championship: October 14 & 16.

More details on these two competitions closer to the time. While we encourage all members to participate in these competitions, no matter your handicap, please note entry to both is completely voluntary.
