Results just to hand – Jenny Griffiths won the 9-hole Champion of Champions on Monday at Maramarua. Congratulations Jenny! What an outstanding result.

Top Cat

Congratulations to Anna Macauley & Maree Neven who are our Top Cat winners with 70 points. On count back in 2^nd are Justine Jorgensen & Virginia Healey also on 70 points with Leanne Bode & Sabra Davies 3^rd on 66 points. Full results on the noticeboard.

Putting Competition

Well done to all who entered, particularly those that completed all four rounds. You will find the results on the notice board, however congratulations to Anna Masefield – 1^st (28 putts), Tessa Larsen – 2^nd (29 putts) and Carol Smith – 3^rd (30 putts). It was a very tightly contested competition and obviously some serious talent out there.

Interclub Competitions

We hope to enter two teams in next year’s competition and encourage anyone who is interested in joining an interclub squad to put your name on the list on the noticeboard. Inter club competition is handicap match play format, played at home and away on different days of the week. All handicaps are eligible. Putting your name down is not a commitment to play but will mean you receive more information about what is involved. If you are interested, please put your name down the next time you are at the club as we need an indication of numbers ASAP. If you played this year and would like to continue next year, please also put your name down.

Super 70’s & Amazing 80’s Fun Day – Monday 18^th November

Hidden holes stableford – prizes for front and back nines. Advance entries have closed.

You can still participate by booking as usual through Dotgolf and entering in the Pro shop on the day. No entry fee. Complimentary muffins will be provided at the end of your round.

Bridge Sponsors Day Monday 25^th November

There will be prizes for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd on each nine, plus straightest drive and closest to the pin. There will be no entry fee thanks to the generosity of the Bridge Club. Entry sheet will go up on tomorrow. There will be a little something for you to enjoy with your post golf tea and coffee.

Closing Day Wednesday 11^th December

Ambrose format culminating in lunch and prize giving. Entry form is up. Places will be limited so waste no time entering your name or team. Entry fee $2 pp in the pro shop on the day. Christmas themes ideal.

Lunch bookings must be made separately: Put your name down in the Pro Shop for lunch and pay $30 pp when you do so (by 4 Dec) NB. Make sure you say 9HW's Xmas lunch as the shop will be taking bookings for 18HW's events too! Please contact Jo Hollies, Jane Beveridge or Sue Olliff if you have special dietary requirements.

Open Days

Waiuku Friday 8^th November. Four of our players enjoyed the beautiful day and the great hospitality and lunch. We also did well in the prizes with Jo Hollies 1^st, Jackie Antonievich 2^nd and Sue Olliff 6^th in the Stableford competition.

The next open day is Pukekohe 21^st Nov, 9.30 shotgun start. Please put your name on the list and pay entry fee to Jo ($27 which includes lunch) before 18 November. Her account number is 03-0195-0367880-00.

Onewhero 29^th Nov, 9.30 Shot gun start. $15 entry fee to be paid on the day and please enter directly with Onewhero. Please ignore the handicap cut off, this competition is open to everyone. Flyer is on the noticeboard. It’s a bit of a drive but a lovely course.
