The Women's Inter Provincial Tournament was played at Akarana last week.  The Women were looking to win the trophy again after their success last year.  Remuera was very well represented in the team - Aileen Du and Chloe Lam played the first 3 games, and Grace Jung joined the team after completing her exam commitments towards the end of the week.

 

Aileen and Chloe notched up 3 wins from 3 matches - against Taranaki, Aorangi and Manawatu/Wanganui to ensure that the team was unbeaten when Grace joined the group.  Grace had a narrow loss in her match against Canterbury, followed by wins against Wellington and Bay of Plenty.

 

Grace then chalked up very good wins over North Harbour in the semi-final, followed by a big win in the final against Canterbury.
