Saturday was the "unofficial" opening day for our Saturday men.  The holding of the Scottish Cup kicks off our 2021 year of golf.  This is a single stableford event for the afternoon field, followed by the ceremonial cutting of the haggis.  The haggis was piped in by Cameron Dean from St Kents College, with Iain Craig reciting the Ode to the Haggis by Robbie Burns.

Andy Horsfall was the 2021 winner of the Scottish Cup with 40pts.  He was just clear of Callum Cameron (39pts), with 5 players on 38pts (Thai Leng, Larry Sewell, Logan Driver, Lyall Brown and Tony Verner).

The Summer Cup has completed 3 rounds (of 5) with a new leader - William Kelly (112pts).  William is 3pts clear of David Smith & Darren Soo (109pts).  They are followed Erik Jorgensen and Keith Aitchison (108pts).

45 players have completed 3 rounds in the best 3 of 5 event.  Another 50 players have recorded 2 rounds and only need 1 more to qualify for prizes.  A total of 125 players have played in at least 1 round.
