The Summer Cup provided the tightest finish possible on Saturday afternoon. William Kelly went into the final round with a 2 shot lead, but he was overhauled by Tada Wada & Darren Soo.  All 3 players finished on 116pts, with Tada taking the trophy on a count-back - his 42pts on the last day of competition winning the count-back.

89 players completed the minimum of 3 rounds over the 5 playing days, with another 26 players entering 2 rounds.
 
This weekend we start the Match Play Qualifying rounds - Saturday 13 & 20 February.  The top 16 players in each division progress to the Match Play rounds which start on February 27.  There are an excellent number of entries:
Open Grade - 24 players
Intermediate - 26 players
Junior - 29 players
C & D Grade - 22 players
 
The first round draw will be in handicap order, with the second round in score order based on first round results.
