Good Morning All,

We appreciate everyone's understanding after the course closure on Saturday.  After some discussion by the Match Committee the decision has been taken to hold the qualifying round this Saturday for the Captains Prize.  We have managed to accommodate all the players who pre-registered and wished to play this weekend.

CAPTAINS PRIZE QUALIFYING
It will also result in the moving of the Match Play rounds out one week too. The new dates are as follows:
Captain's Prize Qualifying Round - Saturday July 24th. Net medal, top 32 qualifiers with entry on the day when scorecards are printed.

Match Play Rounds (in the afternoon field):
Round of 32 - Saturday July 31st.
Round of 16 - Saturday August 7th
Quarter Finals - Saturday August 14th
Semi Finals - Saturday August 21st
The 3rd Round of the Booth Cup is scheduled for Saturday August 28th, so the Final of the Captain's Prize will be held on Saturday September 4th (subject to the agreement of both players who qualify for the Final).

MID WEEK MEN'S COMPETITIONS
As there are several available Wednesdays from now until the spring coring in mid-September, we will be holding a "Top Dog" competition for the Mid-Week Men.

Event - Pairs Best Ball Stableford
Players can choose their partners for this event, and they can enter the event on each playing day when they print their scorecards.

Playing Dates - Wednesday July 28th; Wednesday August 4th; Wednesday August 18th; Wednesday August 25th and Wednesday September 8th.
There are 5 playing dates with the best 3 best ball scores counting for the overall prizes.

Cost of Entry - $10 per round per player.
$5 of the entry fee will contribute to the daily prizes, while the other $5 will be allocated to the overall prizes.

If you wish to enter this event, please email John Sims - johns@remueragolfclub.com with the names of your pairs. Your names will be placed in the start sheet 10 days before it opens for each round, thus ensuring that you are allocated a place in the field. If you are unable to play in any given round, simply withdraw the player(s) who are unable to play.

Kind Regards,

John Sims
