Our Patron, Peter Worth and his wife Natalie hosted another very successful Patron's Day event on Sunday in beautiful conditions - a marked contrast from the previous day!  Our sincere appreciation goes to Peter and Natalie for their generosity in supporting this event each year.

 

The winners on the day were Malcolm Griffiths (45 pts) and Jane Lewis (38 pts).  Congratulations to you both, Malcolm's prize was a watch, while Jane received a pearl pendant.

 

Malcolm was 5 pts clear of George York, followed by Keith McCracken (39), Mike Egan & Peter Worth (38), Ken Brown and David Winstone (37).

 

In the women's section Elaine Ceelen (36) was runner-up followed by Maria Balan (35), Elizabeth McLeish, Helen Parry and Kathleen Howe (34).

 

The qualifiers for the Dempsey Plate were also announced.  The next big mixed event is Charity Day on Sunday March 25th, with the first round of St Johns scheduled for Sunday April 15th, the Sunday after Easter.
