Saturday saw the return to our competitive golf programme with Round 1 of the Booth Cup.  113 players entered for this first qualifying round and some very good scores were posted.

 

The best gross qualifier was Rakesh Patel (70) on a count-back from Thai Leng.  Thai however was the top net qualifier (68), with James Ashwin (69) joining him.  Richard Lane and Erik Jorgensen are the reserves in the net qualifiers, and Kahu Tataurangi is the gross reserve qualifier.

 

The next round of the Booth Cup is scheduled for June 27th.

 

This Saturday we begin the Winter Cup which is being played over 5 Saturdays with the best 3 scores counting.
