The Mid Week Top Dog competition has passed the half way mark.  This is a pairs best ball over a maximum of 5 rounds with the best 3 scores counting.

 

Brent Kirtlan and Mark Boucher led from Round 1 with a massive 51pts.  While their next 2 rounds haven't been quite as outstanding they have been solid enough to maintain their lead - 51, 43 & 45 (139).  The nearest challenge is coming from Ron Reed & Andy Horsfall on 133, who have a chance to close the gap by scoring better than their lowest round of 38 next Wednesday. 

 

It is very close in behind Ron & Andy - John Harvey/Chris Thompson 132; Bruce Carnachan/Ken Taylor 131; Mike Hyams/Ian Braddock on 130.

 

This event is proving very popular with 35 teams having already posted scores in all 3 rounds.  11 more teams have completed 2 rounds and are still capable of challenging the final 2 rounds over the next fortnight.
