The Mid Week Captains Qualifying was completed yesterday despite persistent rain through the late afternoon. The greens handled the rain well and 32 qualifiers were found.
Top qualifier was Erik Jorgensen (67), closely followed by Steve Dick (68) and Murray Wells (70). The draw for the Round of 32 has been posted on the Wednesday start sheet and there is a copy on the noticeboard of the Men's Locker Room. Top qualifier - Erik Jorgensen is up against the Summer Cup winner, Tada Wada in the first round. Some other interesting matches see - Phil Lawson vs James Peoples, Robin Bone vs Colin McGowan and 2nd qualifier - Steve Dick vs Brian Read.
On Saturday we start the Match Play Qualifying - 2 rounds (1 on Saturday & 1 on Saturday week). Qualifying is on gross with the top 16 gross scores progressing to match play rounds starting on February 27th.
